Frequently asked questions

What resolution is the PNG?

The simulated printer's: at 8 dpmm (203 dpi), a 4x6 in label is about 812×1218 pixels. Switch to 12 or 24 dpmm for more definition.

Is the background transparent?

No — the PNG reproduces the printed label: white background, black ink, exactly as it leaves the thermal printer.

Can I convert many labels at once?

Yes. The PNG button downloads the label currently in the preview; when the file holds more than one, a “PNGs as ZIP” button appears and renders one image per label into a single archive.

Is it really free?

Yes: 30 labels a day, no signup, no card and no watermark. Processing happens in your browser and costs us nothing per label — what the paid plans sell is a bigger daily allowance, not extra features.
